The Green Hospitality section will feature solutions and technologies for hotels with a low environmental impact

Rimini, 23rd November 2012 - At Rimini from 23rd to 26th February 2013, in the setting of RHEX Rimini Horeca Expo (the new Rimini Fiera event born from the experience of the previous SIA Guest and Sapore expos and dedicated to innovations, solutions and  trends in the market of the time spent “away from home”, offering a formidable showcase for exhibitors from the hotel, hospitality, food service and entertainment industries) the debut will be held of Green Hospitality, the new expo section dedicated to solutions and energy services for accommodation facilities with a view to sustainability and saving.

The section, realized in collaboration with ClimateHouse Agency, a leader in the development of systems for energy saving and committed for years to the promotion of initiatives for making the entire population more aware and responsible about sustainability and climatic changes, will present solutions, opportunities and technologies for hotels that enable to limit running costs and environmental impact.

At Green Hospitality there will be a conference and numerous expo areas – green building and green furnishing, photovoltaic and thermo-technical systems, systems and technology for energy saving, windows and doors (and their frames) and cladding/covering material – with a single, ambitious objective: transforming Hotels from “devourers” of energy into sustainable facilities.

RHEX, and its international potential firmly founded on 1,465 exhibitors, 110,750 visitors, 5,000 business meetings, 500 top buyers from 5 continents and 1,000 accredited journalists, therefore provides irreplaceable driving power for the development of sustainable tourism, based on a new environmentalist culture and more rational use of energy resources.

ClimateHouse Agency is an independent public body in the Independent Province of Bolzano which provides energy and environmental certification of buildings and products. To date, it has certified over 3,500 buildings throughout Italy. On the other hand, the ClimaHotel seal of quality represents a means for introducing to hotel facilities technical and strategic measures for management coherent with sustainable development of the tourist trade.
