Expo GastroPan 2016: the place where technology, expertise and talent meet customer’s demands

The eighth edition of the most important Romanian trade fair showcasing equipment, ingredients, tools, solutions and technologies for bakery, confectionery, ice cream, chocolate, coffee and food service markets will take place between 7th and 9th April 2016 at President Expo Center, in Târgu Mureş, Romania. GastroPan is a B2B event that aims to present the widest range of equipment, ingredients, tools, solutions and technologies available on the market from leading providers in the country and abroad. GastroPan will be organized in 3 exhibition halls, on a total space of 7,000 square meters which will accommodate both standard booths and custom built exhibiting spaces, where suppliers will be able to organize complex demo shows.




EXHIBITORS

The 133 exhibitors from 25 countries are world-class suppliers who will exhibit at GastroPan equipment, ingredients, tools, accessories, solutions, technology for all types of businesses in the bakery, confectionery and food service market.

VISITORS

Among the thousands of visitors invited nominally to the business event of the sector are specialists, managers and entrepreneurs representing artisan and industrial bakeries, pastry shops, confectioneries, ice cream makers, chocolate shops, restaurants, professional kitchens and hospitality establishments. After processing the access tickets of last year’s 21,147 visitors of GastroPan the organizers have identified their main activities: operators from the bakery, confectionery and milling sector; merchants of bakery and pastry products; pastry shop, confectionery lab and ice-cream shop operators and owners; merchants of pastry and ice-cream products; restaurant, bar, pub, tee house, hotel and inn owners and managers; hypermarket, supermarket and cash & carry type shop managers, owners and operators.

GASTROPAN 2016 COMPETITIONS

The greatest talents of bakeries, confectioneries and restaurants from all over Romania are going to enter the county’s biggest competition, which identifies and promotes art and professionalism in this industry. This year GastroPan Competitions are divided into 8 categories, which are grouped in 3 main competition sections (BAKERY, CONFECTIONERY, GASTRONOMY). The best product will be awarded with The Bread and The Cake of the Year 2016.
